Well it’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but I think I’m finally getting this whole website thing down. I’ve set a goal to start posting much more often. Actually, I’ve set a lot of goals recently. I know it’s now February, but January was just last month, and January is usually when we make our resolutions for the year. I’m guilty of being absolutely horrible at keeping these resolutions, but I still make a list of them every year. We’ll see how long they last 😉
In my creative writing class a few weeks ago, my teacher gave an assignment to create our manifesto for 2014. Basically, it’s just a pretty picture of things you want to do or remember for the year. I have no artistic ability whatsoever, so I decided to try my hand at graphic design and create one on the computer. It’s not professional by any means, but it turned out better than I was expecting. I was so excited. So I decided to share it here and see if it sparks anything in all of you. It’s always nice to think about the year you hope to have, and, maybe more importantly, things like this can inspire fantastic writing ideas 🙂 Maybe you should write a book this year. If I can do it, then absolutely anyone can.
Here’s to a happy 2014. Let’s make the most of it.
